"Veer-Zaara" is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language epic romantic drama film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan as Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force pilot, and Preity Zinta as Zaara Hayaat Khan, a Pakistani woman of high standing in Lahore.
